RIVERVIEW HIGH SCHOOL

Riverview IB Information Night on December 12, 2022

​Riverview High School IB Information night is scheduled for Monday, December 12, 2022 from 6:00-8:00pm in the Riverview Performing Arts Center (RPAC); tours will follow. 
 
The Riverview IB application will be available on our website, www.riverviewib.com, on January 13, 2023.  Please note that we received almost 300 applications in the first few days last year.  Students who are highly motivated to attend Riverview IB should plan on submitting their application within 24 hours of the application opening.

Honors Math Placement information (for all incoming 9th Graders)

 The math placement test will be administered on....
  • Monday, May 2, 2022 in the RHS Cafeteria from 5:30 PM - 7PM
  • Wednesday, May 4, 2022 in the RHS Cafeteria from 5:30 PM - 7PM
  • Saturday, May 7, 2022 in the RHS Cafeteria from 8:30 AM - 10:00AM
  • Tuesday, May 31, 2022 in Room 5-307 from 8:30-10:00AM
 
Instructions:
  • No sign up is necessary; just show up at one of the scheduled dates above.  Attendance will be taken
  • No calculators.
  • Bring pencils with erasers
  • The test is 90 minutes; all students will be released at the end of the 90 minutes (No Students will be able to leave before then; Parents must pick up their child immediately following test completion).

Serving as a school-within-a-school at Riverview High School, the IB diploma program provides motivated students with an opportunity to pursue a rigorous university preparatory curriculum, which equally fosters social and emotional growth. The program promotes balance, while emphasizing self- reflection, community involvement, and an enlightened worldview.

RHS KILTIE BAND

The Riverview High School Kiltie Band program consists of over 200 ladies and gentlemen from the student population; it is comprised of Symphonic Winds, Wind Ensemble, Varsity Band, Bagpipes, Color Guard, and Highland Dance.  Anyone, regardless of experience, can join the band program at Riverview.  Some of the band classes require an audition and some are open to all students. All interested students are asked to meet with one of the directors for more information and requirements
